My Story

I was driving the back alleys of Surrey looking for a 1950 Ford like I had in high school and I found this 1950 Meteor Custom sitting under a tree all covered in leaves. It had 1998 plates and was parked with gas in the tank, all turned to gum, that was 2008. She was a real mess, towed it home.

Had to rebuild the fuel system tank to carburetor. All the brakes where seized and totally shot, had to get a new master cylinder.

There where no door panels or arm rests. I got a 1950 Ford upholstery kit. I installed dual exhaust system and the exhaust is music to flat headers ears.

I did all the mechanical works myself. Rumbleseat Restoration repaired some rust and did the paint, to Meteor code. The engine is a stock 239 cu. in.V8

I installed a 12 volt charging system. I dropped the car 2 inches all around. The engine starts and runs like a clock. I got my collectors plates in 2014.

The Meteor is a Canadian build car and very few left.

THE JOY IS IN THE JOURNEY
